Ragnar is a U.S. relay-race company that has been putting on overnight, team-based endurance races for about 20 years. In its Trail series a team stays at a single basecamp — Ragnar Village — and runners rotate one at a time through three looped courses of different length and difficulty, running through the day and night and sleeping in tents between legs.
Ragnar Trail Florida runs Friday 4 December to Saturday 5 December 2026 at Alafia River State Park, 13300 S County Road 39, Lithia, Florida. The three loops total 126.4 miles across a full team rotation, about 15.8 miles per runner on an 8-person team, on shaded equestrian and forest trails at close to sea level with roughly 656 feet of climbing per runner. Ragnar adds Thursday-night activities and an informal holiday theme to this edition.
Three team formats are offered: Standard (8 runners, $1,645 per team, about $205 a runner), Ultra (4 runners, $925, about $231 a runner) and Sprint (3 runners, one day, $400, about $133 a runner).
