Savage Race is a United States obstacle course race series founded by Sam Abbitt and Lloyd Parker, running a 5 to 7 mile course with more than 25 obstacles alongside shorter and competitive formats. This is the series’ Florida fall race, held Saturday 14 November 2026 at Little Everglades Ranch in Dade City, Florida, north-east of Tampa. It is a Saturday-only event with no Sunday counterpart.
Five formats run on the day. Savage Race is the 5 to 7 mile main event with 25-plus obstacles; Savage BLITZ is a 3-plus mile course with 15 to 20 obstacles; SavagePRO is the competitive wave, which starts at 8:00 a.m. and requires 100% obstacle completion to be scored; a Rucking Division sponsored by GORUCK starts at 8:30 a.m.; and the Savage Syndicate Pass covers both the Race and the BLITZ on the same day. SavageJR, for ages 12 and under, starts at 11:00 a.m. over a one-third-mile course for 8s and under or a one-mile course for 9 to 12s.
Starts run in assigned windows rather than one mass start: a premium 8:25 to 9:25 window costs $14 extra, with 9:30 to 10:25 and 10:30 to 11:00 included in the entry. Exact wave times are finalised the week before. A festival close time is not published. Prices climb on a dated ladder — as of early September 2026 Savage BLITZ is $129, Savage Race and the Rucking Division $139, SavagePRO $169 and the Syndicate Pass $260, with the current step ending 17 September and four further increases through to race week, when Savage Race reaches $179. SavageJR is a flat $45 online or $55 on site and includes one spectator pass. Spectator entry is $25 online with children 12 and under free, and parking is $20 at the gate. The minimum age is 13 on race day for the adult formats. Only service dogs are permitted in the festival area.
