The race is the same standardised test wherever it runs: eight one-kilometre runs alternating with eight workout stations — SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges and wall balls — raced indoors against the clock. Entries are sold as singles, doubles and relay, and spectator tickets are available separately. The four-day span reflects the number of waves HYROX runs at a venue of this size rather than a longer event for any one athlete — each competitor races once. No start time is published in advance; wave assignments reach athletes a few days before their race day. HYROX Youngstars, a race for ages 8 to 15, runs alongside the adult event on 17 and 18 October 2026.
