The race is the same standardised test held everywhere: eight one-kilometre runs alternating with eight workout stations, covering SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges and wall balls, contested indoors against the clock. The five-day span reflects the number of waves the venue absorbs rather than a longer race for any one athlete. Singles, doubles and relay entries are sold, with spectator tickets available separately. HYROX publishes no start time in advance; athletes receive their wave assignment a few days before racing.
Less Every event worth a weekend, in one email. Rucking, hybrid fitness, obstacle and endurance, wherever in the country they are.
