Ragnar is a U.S. relay-race company that has been putting on overnight, team-based endurance races for about 20 years. In its Trail series a team stays at a single basecamp — Ragnar Village — and runners rotate one at a time through three looped courses of different length and difficulty, running through the day and night and sleeping in tents between legs.

Ragnar Trail Zion runs Friday 7 May to Saturday 8 May 2027 at Zion Ponderosa Ranch, Twin Knolls Road, Orderville, Utah, on the plateau above Zion National Park. The three loops total 124.8 miles across a full team rotation, about 15.6 miles per runner on an 8-person team, with roughly 15,016 feet of total climbing on a mix of singletrack, doubletrack, equestrian and jeep trail, with views toward Checkerboard Mesa and Cedar Breaks. The resort basecamp has a pool, hot tubs and showers, which most Trail villages do not.

Two team formats are offered: Standard (8 runners, $1,595 per team, about $199 a runner) and Ultra (4 runners, $950, about $237 a runner).

Registration is handled by Ragnar on Let’s Do This, its own ticketing platform, and is reached from the Register button on the race page linked above. Check that page for lodging and camping options at the ranch, the current loop maps and Ragnar’s transfer and refund policy.
