Terrain Race is an obstacle and mud 5K series operated by EventLab, which runs it alongside Muddy Dash, Bubble Run, FoamGlow, Blacklight Run and The Color Run. The operator describes the course as an obstacle and mud-focused 5K over rugged terrain with mud pits, pitched as a step up in difficulty from its Muddy Dash sibling.
This edition runs Saturday 21 November 2026 at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, California, in the hills east of Irvine, which the series names the race for. The first wave starts at 9:00 a.m. and the festival village opens about two hours earlier, at around 7:00 a.m., for packet pickup, warm-ups, gear check, vendor booths and music. A finish-line festival runs from the moment entrants cross the line.
Entry comes in two tiers. Value registration includes a race bib, custom race tee, finisher medal, access to both festivals and course photos. VIP registration adds a premium tech tee, a swag bag, an early wave start, a VIP tent with refreshments, reserved gear check and an exclusive finisher patch. The operator lists Value entry at $70 but is currently running a promotion offering it free; the VIP tier is listed at $119.95 on the series’ Active.com listing. The event is billed as family-friendly with all ages welcome. Kids’ entry, spectator pricing, parking fees and the pet policy are not published on the event page. Note that the series’ old domain, terrainracing.com, now belongs to an unrelated business and should not be used.
