CrossFit Mayhem is a CrossFit affiliate gym in Cookeville, Tennessee, founded by Rich Froning Jr., who started it in his father’s barn in 2009 before moving it downtown in 2012 and into a larger facility in 2016. The gym fields competitive teams at the CrossFit Games and runs group classes, an on-ramp course, a lower-intensity programme and youth training at its Cookeville location. Its commercial arm, Mayhem Nation, sells apparel and subscription training programming and licenses a Mayhem Gym affiliate model to gyms worldwide. Its public in-person event line currently consists of the Mayhem Gym Development Weekend series, a professional-development seminar for affiliate owners and coaches, alongside the annual Mayhem Classic competition.
