Mammoth March Georgia is a 20-mile endurance hike at Dauset Trails Nature Center south of Atlanta, with an eight-hour cap to complete the course. Hikers select a start slot from 7:30 a.m. onward, and cut-off times at the aid stations keep the field moving at a pace that will bring them home inside the limit. The Dauset Trails network is rolling rather than mountainous, so the difficulty comes from sustained distance rather than elevation, which makes this a popular target for first-time 20-mile hikers in the Southeast.
