Community First Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides no-cost critical incident response training to law enforcement officers across the United States. Its stated mission is “to make our communities safer by enhancing current police training protocols”, and its courses cover de-escalation, stress mitigation and management, target identification and other critical incident skills. The organization funds that training through donations and fundraising events, and says it trained 333 officers in 2026.
